Condor renews its partnership with Malaysia Tourism

At ITB Berlin, Malaysia Tourism, the airport operator Malaysia Airports, and the airline Condor signed a memorandum of joint cooperation agreeing to continue their successful flight route between Frankfurt/Maun and Kuala Lumpur over the upcoming summer holiday season. Services began this winter and during the first three months flights operated at 90 capacity, with over 16,000 passengers recorded since November. “We were very satisfied with our first partnership with Condor“, said Datuk Ahmad Shah Hussein Tambakau, chairman of Tourism Malaysia. “They helped us to cement our position on the German market, which resulted in a 17.1 per cent rise in tourism arrivals from Germany last year. We expect a further increase in 2019 and are anticipating 147,000 German holidaymakers. Condor’s summer schedule lists flights on this route twice a week. The total passenger capacity is 25,000 seats.
