Auf der ITB Berlin wird Qatar Airways die Einführung neuer Destinationen verkünden und ein neues Standkonzept enthüllen.

Der neue Stand zeigt besondere Elemente des Heimatflughafens Hamad International Airport. Auch die neue Markenkampagne der Airline schlägt eine neue, frische Richtung ein. Unter dem Leitmotiv „Going Places Together“ wird sie sich im neuen Design wiederfinden. Der Fokus liegt darauf, Menschen einander näher zu bringen.

Qatar Airways announces new flight destinations and unveils a new stand concept at ITB Berlin.

The new stand features characteristic design elements of Hamad International Airport where the airline is based, and its new brand image campaign has also taken on a refreshing, new direction. Taking as its slogan ’Going Places Together’, the airline sports a new design, with a focus on bringing people together.

Sri Lankan Airlines is planning flights to Australia

This coming winter Sri Lankan Airlines is planning to introduce a new route from Colombo to Melbourne. Flights will be scheduled four times a week, said Lal Perera, head of Worldwide Sales at ITB Berlin. This route will cater primarily for high demand from customers in India and Sri Lanka. Both nations have large communities in Australia. Passengers will also be able to fly on to Europe. At present, Sri Lankan Airlines also flies to Frankfurt, London, Paris and Rome.

Air Astana: a good night’s sleep in economy class

On its winter season flights in February and March respectively, the Kazakh airline Air Astana is introducing an exclusive product, its economy sleeper class, on its Boeing 757 flights from Frankfurt and London to Astana and on its newly launched route to Paris.  Priced below business class, it offers passengers a flat bed for a good night’s sleep on three adjacent economy seats on these six-hour flights. Economy sleeper class cabins are separated from business and economy class, and 12 places are available on each flight.
