Brazil has more to offer than Copacabana, the Amazon region and Iguazu Falls. At ITB Berlin Vinicius Lummertz, president of the Tourist Board Embratur, presented the ’Rota das Emoções’, a route that is an intense 800-kilometre journey across the country’s northeast, which stretches along the coast and crosses three states (Ceará, Piauí, Maranhão). This is where visitors can enjoy beaches, rivers, lakes, dunes, paths and natural attractions, where they can practise extreme sports, admire handicrafts and savour culinary delights.
