Dubai: New attractions and hotels on the Persian Gulf

Dubai, a leading destination for visitors from around the world, will be at ITB Berlin and present new hotels, attractions and the Dubai Calendar App.

Be it a luxury holiday, family adventure or business trip, Dubai, a United Arab Emirate, is an attractive and unforgettable place, regardless of the type of holiday or one’s finances. Issam Kazim, CEO of Dubai Tourism confirmed that 2016 was a successful year for Dubai, which attracted thousands of enthusiastic visitors: “We can look back on a very eventful year. In 2017 we will continue with our goal of presenting Dubai as a sustainable and leading destination for visitors from around the world, by opening fascinating new hotels and attractions. Numerous new hotels, including the Bulgari Resort & Residences and the Viceroy Palm Jumeirah Dubai, will be opening in the coming months and will guarantee a first-class stay for visitors in the future. At Berlin 2017 visitors can find out about the latest hotel news, attractions, events and services on the stand of the Dubai Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing (DTCM) in Hall 2.2a.

At the ITB Berlin Convention Issam Kazim will have detailed information on upcoming events in Dubai and its digital communications in particular. Taking the Dubai Calendar App as an example, he will highlight the dominant role that mobile devices now play for tourists and how they challenge destinations to offer tourists a better holiday experience tailored to their needs. The lecture will take place on 10 March 2017 at 11.25 a.m. in the NYC Room on day 3 of the Destination Days.
