The number of co-exhibitors accompanying the Italian National Tourist Board (ENIT) at ITB Berlin NOW this year reflects Italy’s diversity. Hundreds of co-exhibitors will be taking part with Italy’s Brand Card.
Italy is well-prepared for the 2021 holiday season. At ITB Berlin NOW the country will have information on the infection protection measures in place, social distancing and hygiene rules in public facilities, hotels and restaurants, as well as on the progress being made with vaccinations. Among those participating with the Brand Card will be ENIT and many other co-exhibitors, who will highlight Italy’s tourism attractions. Operators offering water sports activities will present opportunities for sailing, surfing and diving holidays on the country’s 8,000-kilometre coastline and in Italy’s mountainous regions, where tourists can enjoy climbing, rafting und skiing.
Representatives of wellness hotels and spas will have information on products for those who who prefer more relaxed holidays. Italy boasts 55 UNESCO World Heritage Sites, more than any other country – and will be presenting the latest tourism products in this market at ITB Berlin NOW.
The LGBTQ+ scene is just as colourful and diverse as Italy itself. Since the Nineties LGBTQ+ tourism has been firmly established at ITB Berlin, and Italy has always presented itself as a host welcoming members of the community. Despite no events or prides being able to take place yet, Italy is naturally always worth a visit. The country will be highlighting its LGBTQ+ products at the Presenting Partnerships LGBT+ Tourism Pavilion at ITB Berlin Now 2021 and at TOMONTOUR 2021.
