The Berlin Travel Festival, a partner event of ITB Berlin NOW, is offering consumers a wide-ranging, virtual evening programme featuring high-profile guests. At the same time as ITB Berlin NOW, via the live stream of the Berlin Travel Festival, consumers can follow films, interviews, lectures, panels and tutorials with more than 50 prominent figures.
From the programme: on the first evening under the heading “Take a trip! But how?“, experts will debate the question that many are probably asking right now. Christine Thürmer, who has hiked more miles than any other woman, will show how to find the right route and the best way to prepare. The producers of the Black Forest Collective will screen impressive films on outdoor activities and Ana Zirner, a mountain guide, will talk about her journey along the Colorado River.
GEO SAISON and WALDEN, the editorial partners of the Berlin Travel Festival, will have content to match each episode: Hauke Dressler, a GEO photographer, will talk about his journey across Africa, and WALDEN will interview the endurance athlete Markus Torgeby about his life outdoors.
Destinations such as the Black Forest and Luxembourg are also part of the programme and are each partners of corresponding episodes. As a category partner, the Berlin culture department store Dussmann will offer reading tips on the topics of relevant episodes.
