Fokus on Europe
I look forward to being at ITB for the twentieth time. For us, all-inclusive premium packages are a top priority. Since their launch on the markets of German-speaking countries in January 2016 they have been very well received by our sales partners and customers. Nevertheless, our main goal is to position the Norwegian Cruise Line as an international provider of all-inclusive premium services. We will continue to focus strongly on the European market. In the summer of 2017 and 2018, for the first time, we will be operating five ships in the Baltic and the Mediterranean, including from Hamburg and Warnemünde.
Our industry benefits from capacity increases and a constantly expanding market. The cruise market is becoming more and more diverse, so that we are able to target new customers. No other tourism market is experiencing such growth. I have been here since it all began and every day am glad to be a part of this expanding market.
I eagerly await productive meetings with partners and the media and lively discussions with other members of the industry. There are many fascinating products and new destinations to be discovered beyond the cruise market, but there is always too little time to explore them.
