Testing for quality: Mystery Checks and quality-rated service

As part of its Mystery Checks programme, undercover inspectors of TÜV Rheinland test the quality of service in restaurants, hotels and at events in every area involving the customer. The results are valuable for assessing strengths and weaknesses and make it possible to target quality improvements. Undercover inspections are integral to the ’quality-rated service’ standard. Following a successful inspection companies are issued with a corresponding certificate and approval mark.
