As of 4 March 2015 visitors to ITB Berlin will be able to explore new routes across Kyrgyzstan. The travel agency NoviNomad is presenting ten routes that travellers can take not only to visit but also to experience everything this country, its inhabitants and culture have to offer. Since it was set up last year the travel agency NoviNomad has been marketing holidays in rural areas where tourists can get to know the country’s culture and meet local inhabitants. Nature lovers who take these routes can discover the nomadic way of life and actively take part in everyday life in Kyrgyzstan. Events include harvesting organically grown cotton and sharing meals with local nomads. The routes will take travellers across the impressive Kyrgyz landscape on foot, by horse and by car. Accommodation is available in traditional yurts and at selected farms where guests can experience local Kyrgyz life first-hand. Last year, nature lovers from Germany and Switzerland were able to test the new routes for themselves. Commissioned by the German federal government, the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ) GmbH is supporting the development of the new routes which are off the beaten tourist track.
The presentation will take place from 10.30 to 12 noon on 4 March 2015 in Room M5 in the CityCube Berlin.
