On 6 March 2015 at ITB Berlin, taking place in the New York auditorium in Hall 7.1a from 10.30 to 11 a.m., together with Trisavo the Result Group, a leading consultancy for crisis and risk management, will be holding a keynote speech on ’German involvement abroad – the threats and risks facing German businesses abroad’. Business success is dictated by a globalised and networked world in which the conditions for business and technology can change at any moment. One of the topics that this year’s ITB Business Travel Days will be examining is how international companies can proactively deal with and respond to the risks involved. The paper given by the Result Group and Trisavo will provide answers to these questions. The discussion will focus on how companies can confront the issues of viruses, terrorism, natural disasters and political crises abroad, and on how they can take preventive measures in order to be one step ahead of these threats. The point is that in many cases, providing they are identified, many risks and the threat of criminal activity can be minimised before they occur. Max-Peter Ratzel, formerly director of Europol and founder of RatzelConsulting GmbH, will be holding the keynote speech. Afterwards, a panel discussion will take place on the topic of ’How safe are German businesses?’. Taking part will be senior industry experts, including Nico Schönfeld, head of Security Projects and Corporate Security Metro AG, Torsten Kraus, Corporate Security Munich Re, Dr. Fritz Audebert, proprietor and managing director of ICUnet.AG, and Max-Peter Ratzel.
