visitBerlin presents a cosmopolitan city worth living in

visitBerlin auf der ITB

ITB Berlin will open its doors from 4 to 8 March. Together with Brandenburg, Berlin will be represented In Hall 12 on a display area covering 1,600 square metres. This year’s focus is on Berlin as a city worth living in. On a themed display on the topic of cycling, visitors can use a simulator to ’tour’ several routes in Berlin and Brandenburg and can download relevant information to their smartphones. Furthermore, visitBerlin will be presenting its new app called ’GoingLocal Berlin’ which can be used to explore local quarters in Berlin. At the Berlin Bar numerous bars from the city will be letting visitors sample their cocktail creations.
In addition, around 80 exhibitors representing local attractions, hotels and Berlin’s districts will be distributing information on their respective services. This year UEFA will also be at the show. Their stand will be displaying the UEFA Champions League cups from the men’s and women’s competitions, which will be taking place on 14 May and 6 June in Berlin.

GoingLocal Berlin – exploring local quarters in Berlin
Berlin’s local quarters are where the city’s heart beats. In Hall 12 the capital will be presenting its brand new app, ’GoingLocal Berlin’ by visitBerlin which lets visitors discover the unique atmosphere of Berlin’s local quarters while they are on the move. It includes tips, tours, events and short films about every district. On the stand of ITB visitors to the show can experience the intimate atmposphere of backyard housing in Berlin’s local quarters on a PC tablet. To get the new app click on: app.visitBerlin.de
