Graffiti workshop, acrobatics and cooking courses at the leisure park

At ITB Berlin Center Parcs is presenting its new marketing strategy: an all-new website, TV spots and a new slogan, ’At last, just us’. Its leisure park themes now also target specific groups, including couples, families, groups, nature lovers and adventurers. The Center Parcs Academy offers 85 new activities, including acrobatics courses, golfing courses, cooking courses and a graffiti workshop. ISO Travel Solutions

At the ITB in Berlin, ISO Travel Solutions will reveal its new Internet Booking Engine (IBE). The new IBE offers many new features, including TripAdvisor ratings as well as connections to Google Analytics and other Web tracking tools. ISO Travel Solutions will also present the latest versions of the proven, Web-based tour operator solution Pacific, the tourism CRM software Emerald, the cache component Distribution Catalyst and its “YourB2CApp”. Namibia

New routes for individual tours of Namibia

Three new routes off the beaten track which pass through popular and lesser-known regions in Namibia are to be presented at ITB Berlin. They have been put together by Open Africa, an organisation specialising in sustainable tourism, in cooperation with the Namibia Tourism Board and Millennium Challenge Account Namibia. For anyone in search of unlimited outdoor adventure Namibia is the place to go for individual travel. Aruba nominated for World Legacy Award

The World Legacy Award is a new initiative of the National Geographic Society in cooperation with ITB Berlin. The winners of the five categories will be announced during the fair. Electrically powered Trabants on Rügen

Electrically powered Trabants (eTrabis) can now be seen on the island of Rügen. These cars from a bygone era have now been equipped with the latest technology. Sporting the brand logos of Rügen and Mecklenburg-West Pomerania, the eTrabis are due to go on show at ITB Berlin. An eTrabi will be on display in front of the South Entrance, where visitors can look, touch and take photos as souvenirs.
