Whetting appetites for the coming travel season, ’Africa 2017’ from the Alexander von Humboldt (Heye) edition won the opening prize of the ITB BookAward 2017. This large wall calendar was chosen by ITB Berlin in cooperation with the RavensBuch bookstore from Friedrichshafen.

Akwaba Afrika presents new VR-technology at ITB Berlin 2017

At ITB Berlin 2017 the tour operator Akwaba Afrika will welcome visitors at their stand with newly produced Virtual Reality presentations of their product range.

Using the VR-device „Rift“ by Oculus,  Akwaba Afrika will provide visitors with the opportunity to virtually travel to Africa and witness some of Tanzanias touristic highlights such as the Kilimanjaro, Wildlife in the Selous Game Reserve and the Mahale national, the Indian Ocean reefs of Zanzibar and many more.
